United Way Monmouth & Ocean Counties
Our Work
Our Work
UNITED IS THE WAY WE BUILD STRONGER COMMUNITIES.
From strengthening local resilience to advancing health, youth opportunity and financial security, United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties mobilizes communities to action so all can thrive.
For over 55 years, we have been rooted in our community, listening to local needs and developing partnerships and pathways to meet them. With community partners across business, education, government and nonprofit sectors, we are uniquely positioned to spark collaboration and innovation.
Together, we’re working towards a future where every person and community can thrive.
Impact Highlights
We partner with over 70 local schools throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties to address unmet needs for youth and their families. Each year, we collaboratively help thousands of students in our community.
Each year an average of 24,500 people in our community are assisted with referrals to critical health, human & social services through our partnership with NJ 211; providing confidential, multilingual support 24/7/365.
Since our Basic Needs program launched over 3 years ago, more than 196,000 household and hygiene essentials have been distributed throughout the community - directly helping local struggling households.
