United Way Monmouth & Ocean Counties
Born Learning STEAM Trail
Learning, Exploring and Growing Together
The United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties (UWMOC), in partnership with the Borough of Tinton Falls, is proud to bring a new Born Learning STEAM Trail to Sycamore Park.
This interactive outdoor learning experience gives young children and their caregivers an opportunity to learn, play and explore together while building important early learning skills. Through hands-on activities along the trail, children can discover science, technology, engineering, art and math concepts in a fun and engaging outdoor setting.
A Trail Designed for Learning Through Play
The Born Learning STEAM Trail features interactive learning stations that encourage children and caregivers to explore their surroundings, ask questions, solve problems and use their creativity.
As families move along the trail, children can practice skills such as:
- Observing and identifying things in nature
- Exploring their surroundings
- Recognizing shapes, patterns and numbers
- Using creativity and imagination
- Practicing early science and math skills
- Learning through movement and hands-on activities
The trail is designed to make learning part of everyday family experiences, helping children build skills that support their development and future success.
